BAUER BondTech ® - Bonded sheet metal technology
Our innovative and high-performance BAUER BondTech ® adhesive bonding process was developed to meet the growing technical, quality, and commercial demands of the electric motor market.
From coil to sheet metal stack—the shortest route
Starting from the steel coil on the reel, the electrical steel sheet is fed into the press by the feed mechanism. Even before the punching process begins, a dispensing head applies the adhesive precisely to the steel sheet. Thanks to the compact design of the dispensing heads, the BAUER BondTech® adhesive lamination process can be integrated directly into the punching die or flexibly positioned in front of the die. The individual sheet is then punched out and cured in the BAUER packaging system—resulting in the finished sheet package in an efficient and precise manner.
System topology
The adhesive packaging system consists of the control cabinet and the interfaces to the individual functional units. Thanks to the standardized Harting connection system, functions can be quickly integrated, linked, and expanded. The foundation of the system is the connection kit, which transmits the press signals to the control cabinet. Adhesive application is performed via an additional interface by the dispensing heads, ensuring precise adhesive application. The packaging system is also fully integrated into the system structure.
We are happy to assist you with the design and integration of our turnkey system to ensure that your commissioning and production proceed reliably and smoothly.
